got a powerhandlin question

if i have 2 subs that are 600 rms rated each, and i have an amp that will push them alot more then that, would i add the two subs rated power together and set the amp gain to run 1200rms at them? or do i just need to run 600rms at them?

yeah, they are the ones in the sig, they are the ma1200xl's! i know they are cheap subs and not the best, but with my amp and i plan to run 4 of these before spring, i will have less then 700 bucks in it. not including the box! which i am going to build myself. hope to do ok with them at the local spl sound off days!

what do ya think? i am goin to put them in 2cubes each tuned to 34 or 35 hz.

That is pretty much up to you, unless they have a manufacturer defect.
