Dumb port question

the width of the port should be the same all the way through. if the port is 10(tall) and 2(wide) the first port wall should end 2" from the inside of the back wall. just mark off 3\4", then 2" from that, then 3\4" then 2" from that until you get enough length.

and your slot port can be rectangular, and the actual sub (im guessing a 15?) can be slaned on the front. if that makes any sense.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
