dumb port question

i gonna start building a new box, its gonna be 3/4mdf on the sides and the bottom, and fiberglass top. and rather than trying to glass in a slot port im using a couple pvc ports, and the question is...it doesn't matter how many bends it has in it? does it? there will be 5-4" ports each with 2-90degree bends, that will be ok as long as they're the right length, right?

as long as u come out with the right port area it doesnt matter, look at slots ports most have 180 degree bends in them

thats what i thought but i just wanted to check before i go and fu(k something up. this thing is going to be glassed 'into' my hatch, so if i mess up there is no going back.

yeah jelly you should be cool cause you only have to account for the pipe displacement unlike a slop port with a corner you have account for corners. theoretically with just regard to displacement and tuning you turn the pipe in circles and be OK as far as tuning and displacement goes... sound is maybe a differant story.... from the lit i have read
