well i havent taken the actual sub out of the box to see the wires on the inside, but since he had it hooked up to a mono amp before i got it i figure its ready to just wire right up... So I just ran pos to pos and neg to neg on the speaker....
Could the ground possibly be the root of the problem? Even though the alpine pushed my alpines pretty hard...

if you have a dmm, hook it up to the terminal on the box and see what it reads

if you're using the alpine subwoofer output - they **** ... +15 is really more like +0db's... so set it to that
and i got the same headunit =P

Also I ran remote wire from one amp to another they both power on so that shouldnt be effecting it?

did you use the subwoofer rca output on the headunit?

if you used either the front/rear speakers outputs for the connection to the sub this wont work

but if you did - click the long button at the bottom (under the blue buttons) three times.. should say bass.. treble.. and then subwoofer... turn subwoofer up to 15...

Okay, find the actual measured resistance of the speaker. Find out what the amp is supposed to run at. Find out how many watts RMS it is supposed to put out. Tell us if the box is sealed or ported. Tell us where you have your ground. Tell us the gauge of the power wire.

For god's sake give us more info to work with!

Ground is directly connected to battery, not my idea, but the guys at local shop did it (said it was chill on the bmw when i questioned) Wiring is not very thick, but it was adequate for my alpine amp...

Box is Sealed (don't know how that would make a huge difference as i am getting basically little bass)

what is the sub rated for? like ohms, wattage, and all that?

if you tell everyone that then they might find the problem... did you hear it before you bought it?
