dual runs fused?

I am about to do this myself. what's the point of doing one and not the other. between my four runs off the front batt to rear bank that's 8 breakers and dual inputs in to 2 sub amps that's 4 more and 3. 4 channel amps that's 15 breakers. That's pricey, but cheaper then burning my truck to the ground

holy crap thats a lot of fuse holders your gonna buy >.

Remember if you fuse right after the front batt fuse just before the rear batt, cause that wire goes to ground your front batt is protected but your rear isn't and will cause unpleasant things to happen

You should fuse every "long" wire run very close to its start. This is to protect the wire, not the equipment. If you have a very short run from the rear battery to the amp, you may not need to fuse that. Anything from the front of the car to the back of the car should be fused very close to where the wire run starts. Make sure you're using the correct fuse for the specific gauge/length of the wire you're running.

my wires from front bat to rear is maybe 8ft and from second batt to amp is maybe one foot the batt is next to the amp like i might use the batt as an amp tray from how limited my space is lol
