Dual ported box

Hey guys it me again. I am starting to build a ported box for my subs. And I am going to make it hold both subs. Do I need to put a piece of wood in the center to seperate the two subs inside the box, or can I just leave it open. Thanks in advance.

It's easier to build a common chamber box because you don't need to build and tune two independent port systems. Put some bracing in the box (accounting for it in volume, of course) if you think you need extra support for the long sides.

The thing is with that design is I don't know how to calculate what size to make the vent. I am using the designs that came with the subs, just changing the dimensions to fit my trunk.

if you change dimensions you need to recalc port length.
