Dual JL W3v3's 10'' Box Build Up Tons of Pics

i was going to say raise the floor but with the subs sitting so low i dont think you can. how big is the amp. can you fit it on the side panels of the trunk?, how about on the trunk lid? it may get hot. but fans will bring the temp down.

im not sure if shud just keep them hidden to keep the clean look, but the thing is, they are a 500/1 and 300/4 not by any means a ugly amp.

true that, i love the look of the slash series amp. i love to show mine off.

you can keep it clean as long as you flush mount the amps and do like a plexiglass cover. with fans underneath for cooling.

put them in the spare tire well. if you have room. most spare tires seat a good 3" from the top of the trunk floor. that allows you to not have to raise the floor and keep the spare tire in place.

hm, so Im getting my 300/4 in tomorrow and I already have my 500/1, so Why hide them. I came up with this cool space saving method to show off my amps in a subtle way.

Ok so where the blue area is pictured, will be cut out, and will be replaced with a sheet of plexiglass from the back. from there the amps will just be mounted to the top side of the box. so when lookin thru the trunk you'll see the amps thru the plexi-glass, and I'm sure Ill have a CC lighting up everything.

Yay or Nahhhh??

hm, a bit of a drive, but its possible, hehe anyhow, I'm gona head to lowes tomorrow, maybe get a head start on this. Ill get a fan and mount it to the top of my trunk and aim it down onto the amps.

hope this turns out phat/cool.

sure, ill post some more in just a bit jus got home from work, btw i got a fan mounted to cool off the amps

Hey guys, I have a question, since i got my 300/4 hooked up I noticed the delay is like 4 seconds before the amp gets the signal and turns on the speakers? anyway to fix that? I have a remote going to both amps off an un-used moonroof output.

Also. I noticed when the music volume is about at 1/4 the amp kicks off, i think this has to do to with signal sensing, how do i fix this?
