not sure, but your remote from the loc may need to be switched over to a relay that will inturn get the 12v signal from the battery to the amps remote.
im running the remote from the un-used moonroof, it doesnt annoy me that it takes about 4 secs for everythign to come on, what annoys me is that if i put it low, it turns off, i gotta put it back up at like 50% for it to turn back on.
have you tryed raising the gain on the loc to see if it stop doing that. you may be droping the voltage to much on the rcas output of the loc to the point that it shuts down when it gets below a volume level since youre now runing multiple amps off of it.
well yeah unfortunaly no gain control on that loc model. and it needs at least 10watts to actualy start converting the signal im sure it works with less. but here is what i think is happenening.
since it uses the hu speaker voltage and current to convert the signal into a voltage signal on the rcas. for your amps. if it usualy gives out lets say at 1/4volume. a 3v signal to a single amp. then adding amps. to that same rca line. will add a load to loc that so each amp wont get 3volts any more. and as you lower your volume the less signal your amps will see, till there is no signal at the amps input. so you can ither get a better loc that has gain adjustments and all the other goodies. or change the sensitiviti setting of the amp via the swithch it to read a lower input signal. and adjust the gains on the amp acordingly.
I had the same problem with my LOC and never got it fixed even tho they had gains on the LOC itself. Props on the install btw I've seen u on 7thgen also. I've got the 4dr lx. Just waiting on the money for a new alt our cars dim like crazy.
well heres the thing man, signal sensing is turned on, but when i turn it off, the amps dont play, like there is nothing. I think the problems lies within the signal sensing
