if youre going to repaint it, you have to resand until all those waves, dips and every thing that looks wrong when you prime it off. i like the black paint look you gave it just need to make sure that the fiberglass is almost perfect before you paint thats why is so hard to work with fiberglass. but im sure you can get them pods just right, youre almost there.

vinyl may not show as many inperfections as paint, but it will still show defects unles you use some sort of backing on it.

keep us updated, i realy want to see how the pods come out.

oh and its not fiberglass, its just bondo ontop of a hardened fleece. ima keep you guys updated brb to work on em

ah! thats it im finished with bondo, sand prime paint, I took the easy way out that look real good. It's a cloth upholstery that is very stretchable, so it worked perfect! now this will make the other pod alot easier to make!

cf vinyle for the win

type cf vinyle sheet and there tons of sites u could walk out the door with about 20$ in vinyle for two tweeter pods. And have left overes.

I like how wonderfull carpet is. It hides everything that goes wrong with a install build.
