I just bought one of these. The deal I got on it made it a no brainer. I know it's Dual but I just had to know. They have that DA8001 that supposed to do 2500 at 1ohm.

When I get it I'll but up pics and guts. Then try to find some time to install. So we will see.

Description

250 Watts x 4 RMS power @ 4 Ohms

480 Watts x 4 RMS power @ 2 Ohms

900 x 2 RMS @ 4 OHMS (bridged)

3000 Watts Peak Power

Fuses:*

Class D digital

Variable low-pass crossover

Variable subsonic filter

Variable bass boost

High level inputs with auto turn-on

Low-level inputs

Remote bass control included

Dimensions (HXWXL): 1.6" x 4.7" x 10-1/4"

Well, they're either redefining the use of fuse protection, or those amps are significantly over-rated.

The 8001 is fused like a ~1500w amp and the 1504 like a 800-1000w amp.

The 1504 should be comparable to PPI's 900.4. If you got it for $125-150 it's probably a good buy as long as it lasts a while. Beyond that there are other options with a track record.
