dual caps

i have 2, 1 farat caps, and i'm trying to hook them together so my kicker zr1000 amp wont have to drain from my battery. i dont know how to hook them together. are you supposed to hook them up as if you was hooking up a second battery(ex. + of the car to the first cap, then - of the first cap to the the + of the other cap then the ground to the body of the truck and put the power of the amp to the first cap) or do i hook all the + together and put the + of the amp on the second cap and all the grounds to the body of the truck?? any help would be appreciated

I believe u hook one + to the othwer + but not certain. Never personally owned caps. No need for thwem with my small *** system.

caps drain more from your battery which drains more from your alternator so if you don't have the proper setup of an alternator and battery combo your putting more of a strain.

Let me see here, first it's farad and not farat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif You wire them in paralell. hopefully that's the way you wire a second battery in your car. no i have 2 amps... the kicker zr1000 and a kenwood 600 so i hook it like power wire from the car to the + on the first cap then - on the first to the + on the second cap then - on second cap to the ground of the car.... so where do i put the + for the amps??

Nope. Positive from bat to positive on first cap, postitive of first cap to positive of second. Then positive of second to amp. Negatives of the caps can be grounded to some bare metal in your car. :0
