dual brand subwoofers?

hey, im lookin for a nice cheap system for my daily driver, i know car audio somewhat, and i know that dual is the bottom of the bin trash but some people told me they hold up with daily bumpin and they get alright bass.... any opinions or recommendations?

im lookin to spend under 100 preferably and so far iv been lookin at those cheap-o 2 12" dual brand subs on ebay for like 10 bucks and just pick up a cheap-o amp for 30 bucks

some help would be apprecaited but please only reply with usefull info not just flaming jibberish nonsence

Kicker has a sale on their comp subs right now, buy one get one free. You might see if a local dealer could just sell you one at half price, so that would be like $50 for a 12". Then, pick up a Profile amp for around $50.......Should be much better than the Dual crap.

by the way, I have a Dual amp installed until I can get my Brutus fixed / replaced; It's not too bad. Cheap on the inside, but is working fine.

yea that looks good , appreciate that, but with shippin its 40 bucks and id still have to buy a amp, (im talkin about the blankput sub)

would one be satisfactory? i was really lookin for 2 subs and a amp combo ,

would this one sub compare to two "dual" subs?

is there any online shop i can look at that kicker deal? the audio shops around here are ghetto and shitty id rather buy online since its usually cheaper

Buy an O of herb and toss it, pick up a hundred bucks extra for the system plus smoke what you want - then spend that 200 dollars on the system and be 3x happier, how's that?

I like the Kicker Comp idea...and if you're going with some prefab crap, there used to be(not sure if there is anymore) two mtx 12's sealed on a little 200 or 300 w amp, I'd much rather have those than the duals, I think they're around 175 shipped?

Youd be much better off upping the budget a little. To still stay pretty cheap, just get a pair of the comps, and a Hifonics Brutus 600.1 or something like that.

Look at Profile amps for cheap power. Or you could try to find a JBL 300.1 or a Brutus 500 or something. Profile would probably be the cheapest route to go, just find something that does in the range of 250-350 and youll be set.

ok ill prolly pick up a profile amp, it wont destroy my subs tho will it? i heard cheap amps are what usually destroy subs, and will these hold up to daily abuse? or will they fall apart in a few months

and kinda a stupid question, if im underpowering these subs (which i most likely will) then it would be almost impossible for me to blow them right? since there not gettin eough power i could turn it up all the way with nothing to worry about?

also im buying the subs off crutchfield which is chargin me
