since the rockford fosgate distribution block is fused, do i still need the in line fuse holder for each output power line for each amp ?

If the distro block is fused, just make sure the fuses in place are proper for the 4 ga, wire and you're set. No additional in line fuses needed.

Could always just do two separate runs of 4 gauge from the battery also since the runs are short and you should have enough wire in your RF kit to do that. You'll just need one additional fuseblock.

I did that in my friends cobalt with the battery in the trunk and haven't experienced issues in over year now. I really wouldn't hesitate to do the some off a battery in the front if I already had the wire. It's just for those that are seeking the wire, it makes more sense to run one run of 1/0 back as it'll be cheaper and easier than 2 runs of 4ga. in most cases. You on the other hand have plenty of wire to reach that short distance. Like I said, just fuse them both and you're in business.

Two amps requiring 4awg wires do not need 1/0. 2awg would be fine. 1/0 is two sizes larger than 2awg, so its extreme overkill beyond any necessity. But the short run from the rear mounted batt means the normally excessive price difference between 1/0 and 2awg is minimal, just making the point since its been discussed here.

Running two 4awg wires will be fine so long as you make you the distro block you get/have has multiple inputs.
