dual alternators

I have a 03' chevy silverado i recently put a dual alternator system on it to run the truck and the sound system seperatly. my problem is the alternator for the truck does not come on to charge the battery and no problem with the audio alternator.

Make sure its wired correct. Without seeing it I could not tell you how too do it.

You can do a Search for Dual Alt setup.

how did u have it wired up? did it come with instructions? I was thinking of doing something like this on my truck, where did you get your setup?

They make kits for this. Most have all the brackets and new size belt and Idler pully with install instructions.

whats a good kit to go with? Ive been having trouble finding parts for mine, its a 1996 Ford F250 HD with a 351w

hey what's up i got my alternator and bracket from ohio generator. you may have to go through your local stereo shop to order it
