Dual Alpine Type-R setup

I am looking to install two alpine type-r's in a BMW 128i. I'm thinking of pushing them at 1 ohm with a sundown 1200d but im worried about whether or not my car's electrical system will be able to handle it fine. My buddy installed two kicker l7's in his 2008 mustang and his lights are dimming running them at half power. Some people said i might have to do the "Big 3" upgrade so i want to know how difficult that would be since my battery is in the trunk and if i upgrade the wiring does that require me to get a stronger battery? Or should my car be able to handle the subs running on that amp?

yo, im a noob, but i would say get a bigger batt put it under your hood, and check to see your alts amperage. if its like 120 idk try just getting a battery at first, i dont think youll have a big prob

It certainly couldn't hurt to add a battery and maybe get an aftermarket alternator. That said -

I have a BMW 735i that runs two Rs on a Crossfire 1000d with no electrical issues. Your mileage may vary. The electrical system in the older BMWs was quite stout, there was also less gadgets

add another battery. my friend has two alpine type r's and a 2000 watt rockford amp. and he has to use another battery. its in his trunk. and his fuse kept on blowing off. he even blew a 100 amp. so he bought a breaker instead. maybe you should too if your fuses keep blowing
