i was wondering how do i wire my dual 2 ohm L7 to stay at 2 ohm do i do + to + and - to - ? i am going to be powering it with a kicker 600.1 and it does 600 at 2ohm

Dual 2-ohm subwoofers cant be wired to 2ohm. only 1 or 4ohm

the dual 4-ohm however, can be wired as 2ohm

Did you go to the Kicker web site and check it out first before you bought or are you talking about some older but new amp?

No.

Long story short; you bought the wrong sub for your amp. You can wire the sub in series for a 4ohm load, but that will only give you 300w. Other than that, you either need to sell your sub and get one that can be wired to 2ohm, or sell your amp and get one that makes the power you need at either 1ohm or 4ohm.

look for a viper 600.1

then you still have time to find an amp that does 1ohm around that much power. i have hifonics brutus bx500d and it does 500watts@1OHM. but it looks like your trying to go all out kicker?

i would like to do all kicker but i will look for a new amp any suggestions on an amp that will do 600-700 at 1 ohm for under $300 on ebay
