Dual 12" Type R suggestions

What size/tune do you run your R's?

I'm looking to build a box for a 97 prix that'll mostly play tech n9ne/gucci/zoe/slim thug/lil whyte etc. So if you could post your music/ application/ power/ size/ tune,... or any particular sizes/tunes you didn't like (and why),,,, Any informative links would be good too.

I've been suggested anything from 3 - 4.5 cubes and 30 - 40hz. Currently I'm using a 3 cube @ 41hz center slot prefab w/ 1500rms @ 1ohm and Its too boomy, I want more solid and deeper lows. It feels like the subs could handle more power/efficiency. Idk if that means go bigger or tune lower or both.
