DSC4125 rear channels @ 2ohms bridged

Anyone have experience running the DSC4125 @ 2ohms bridged? Should it be alright if I just set the gain so it doesn't put out more than its 500rms @ 4 ohm rating? thanks

I tried it out for a while which the amp does get extremely hot.

setting the gains down isnt going to stop it from over heating.

Not a good idea. The manual clearly says the amp should see no lower than 4 ohm load in the bridged mode.

My DSC-480 gets really hot as well bridged for subs. I dont plan to run it long that way. To be safe, Im just running 250w/each instead of the full 320w. Still hits hard.

It'll work until it either overheats and shuts down or overheats and poof your amp is now paperweight!
