It actually says it's rated at 140w x 4 in the manual, which it does at ~2.5% THD and 14v. I'll let you interpret that for yourself.

OP, go with the dsc4125. The amp was a forum boner for quite a while. Dozens of people have used it or are currently using it, and you'll rarely hear anyone complaining. It's tough to beat for $170...

get the mb quart then its also a great sub i have used it also, and many more have used it on this forum as misfit said.

and this is the only cheap 4 guage kit i would buy its oversized buy nothing else unless it says awg on the wire. but this will be perfect

Knu's actually got the new CCA power wire in stock that's supposed to be replacing the KLMX. It's the pretty much the same wire, but it uses the same jacket as their Kolossus line - supposed to be much more flexible than what's currently on there, and it looks a lot better too. They don't have the actual amplifier kits with the new wire in stock yet, though.

did not know that, yea the klmx jacket is a little tuff to work with but id rather work with that then some cheap 4 guage wire thats really 8 guage

Lame, I didn't notice that. But I think I'm going to be picking up some of this wire for an install this summer. One run should be enough for only 2000w total.

I'd assume the KCA wire will come in other sizes eventually. They just introduced the stuff about a week ago...

Stopped by the local shop on the way home from work. They didn't have any of their house built pre fab boxes, but they did have an Atrend box so I went ahead and got it. The owner said he would warranty it just like their own boxes. It's a single DF 10" box. 1.0 CF and 6.5" mounting depth.

I've pretty much settled on the DSC 4125 at this point, so now I need to make up my mind on the sub.

So the CCA wire will be fine for my application? This is OFC and includes a 4 channel RCA. is it worth the few extra bucks?

Well crap, I didn't test fit the box at the shop because it was pouring down rain. I tried it just now and I think I bought the wrong box. This may be for a 99-06 instead of 88-98 like we thought. I'm going back tomorrow to make sure. If it is the wrong box I will have to wait until they make more 10" boxes or I can pick up a 12" tomorrow.

Reading through some threads it sounds like the RSD10 isn't as impressive as the RSD12.

well the 12 has more cone area so it will louder, most people who put in subs just want loudness ot quality hence kickers are popular
