A friend of mine about 5 years ago got repair estimate from several shops. He showed the insurance company the highest priced estimate, insurance gave him a check, and he then proceeded to the cheapest shop and kept the change. Check with the insurance on how they deal with paying the repair shop.

Take it to the shop that does the best work not the cheapest.

If your steering wheel is upside down your alignment is off and maybe bent some steering components get it checked out real good underneath. Because if somethings bent you will never get a good alignment.

Insurances dont like lifted trucks but they deal with them without to many problems.

They could also readjust your payments to compensate for the hazard of having a lifted truck. So you may have to pay a lil more in the end, BUT thats when you just threaten them with a new insurance company if they adjust your payment

Well. the adjuster for her claim talked to me asked what happened and all.

This friday I will be taking the truck to have it looked at..

My buddy mechanic said that i will need a new gear box and a drop down pitman arm.

Alot of mechincs said that they can not do an aligment on my truck with the 42s on there.. I would have to get a set of stock tires.

My buddy mechanic is writing me an estimate for everythign he saw...

So we shall see what happens
