Drunk driver hit my truck

Last night i was coming to a stop and all of a sudden seen a ford explorer the newer ones come hit a nissan then me then another car..then back up hit me again, hit a fourth car and then took off again almost running someone over..then went strait into a cement pole

Long story short... she got a DUI and was on her fone when she hit up..she came onto oncoming traffic..thank god i was coming to a stop and everyone else was stopped... She got out and tried to run but some guy tackled the big girl down. (since she got out and ran she was charged with hit and run)

She messed her car up

But no one was hurt..Other cars got good damage.. AS FOR ME.. i was sittin nice and high. She hit my tire pretty hard.. My steering wheel is upside down but the truck goes strait

my questions for yall:

1. No visual damage really..but what about other parts..what should be looked at?

2. Her insurance is the same as mine...is that bad?

3. I talked to her adjuster..told her the truth about everything. She asked way to many questions.. Normal?

4. What do i do..keep drivin or spend some money to get the truck checked out..or wait for insurance..?

5. Someone is supposed to come look at my truck from her insurane (SAME AS MINE) but they do not know my truck is lifted.....will that effect anything?

you should be ok, even with having the same insurance

alot of people say thats a thing to worry about but you should be fine

take the car to a shop you know and get an estimate, see if it matches the insurances, and go from there

take it she hit your front tire? youll need to check everything from the steering to

the suspension up front. Being lifted shouldnt make a difference...

you woulda went right over her, hah. The steering wheel thing is what worries me...something got messed up under there. Not really safe to drive IMO

Well ****. Definitely take it to a reputable repair shop, preferably one familiar with lifts too obviously.

Have them check out the entire front end, get a written estimate and be prepared to show it to the adjuster.

axle may have some damage. def get it checked out. last thing u want is your tire to pop off while driving because of a bad axle

same thing happened to me. My truck drives fine but the wheel is a little crooked when going straight.

I'm just waiting for my insurance to do their thing and call me back

Take it to a Ford dealer.
Send bill to insurance.
