Drug House Raid

Id prefer to live in a society where Im free to make decisions, even ones that have potential to 'harm' my life in some way. Eating fast food. Smoking a cigarette. Driving a gas guzzler. Having unprotected sex. Owning a 150db car audio system.

I dont want to live in a society where some politician picks and chooses what is socially/morally acceptable. But I also dont want to live in a society where the consequences for my 'bad' decisions are shared among the other members of the society, which includes everything from welfare to prison.

All society should be responsible for is educating the individual so he/she knows the possible consequences of their decisions. Anything beyond that point is a slippery slope each person should only trust in themselves to tread upon.

imo.

Lol. This article is like two or more completely different situations. And way over exaggerated.

All the pictures of money were from a bust in 07. I remember reading about it

He wasn't even mexican. It was an asian guy from Hong Kong who ran a pseudo ephedrine import in mexico (legal, for pharmacies) he was a scape goat for mexican politicians (very high up) and ended up selling it to meth manufacturers for them (unknowingly) and he was the one who took the fall.

News from DEA, News Releases, 03/20/07

I'll try to find the REAL article about it.

ah, i see you beat me to it..

Why wouldnt you include a link to where you saw this? i only ask because its almost obvious those are a bunch of unconnected pictures thrown together to make a fake story. As already stated there is no way that is 22 billion cash. Its not even 1% of 22 billion --- real story behind cash photos: So that's what $100m looks like: US displays largest drug cash seizure the world has seen | Mail Online

seems this post would have been better spent telling me exactly where i am mistaken
The fact that I stated the site I pulled this from requires you already be a member or someone invites you into it. Hence the reason for not posting a link, but instead quoting the entire first post.

there’s a country that leaglized all drugs but if you get caught you have to pay a fine and are subject to rehab
That would be Portugal.. They didn't legalize the drugs; but long after the decriminalization of street drugs they have found it significantly reduced all of the negatives associated with those drugs... less crime, less addiction, ect...

Drug addiction will always lead to robbery, murder, and crime. Drug profits will always lead to robbery, murder, and crime. Robbery, murder, crime, and the actual drug possession charges will always lead to fines, court costs, jail, prison, probation, legal fees, etc...

The fact that drugs are illegal ensures millions of people's employment. Drugs need to be illegal.

Way to put two and two together, Sherlock... just an FYI but I pretty much disagree with everything you have posted in this thread... and the fact that you seem to believe marijuana is any more addictive then gambling tells me that you are an idiot...

Prohibition dosen't work... The ban on alcohol from 1920-1933 in the USA is a perfect model of why it dosent work... not to mention the failed 'war on drugs' which again only serves to make criminals rich along with the lawyers, judges, and the likes, at the cost of billions and billions of dollars to the taxpayers...

what sucks the most about al that shit is tha fact that all that $ is in the hands of mexican government now and will probly be used against us again. So, this is why we need to beef up border patrols and scrutinize people crossing the border...
