drilling new holz in my subwoofer box

because my new woofer is a little bit smaller for some reason. do i need to seal the old holes? or will the rubber gasket that came with the woofer be enough (it's pretty think, about 6-7 mm) to prevent leakage

How much smaller? if its not much you'll be fine.

yeah just put in a little rubber cement, dried pretty fast. don't even think it was necessary, the sub/gasket is tight as sh*t. polk SR124 in a 1.4 sealed by the way. can't wait to give it juice!
