drill a hole in box?

showin top speed doesnt mean shit, you could gear it to do 200 on a 100hp engine
No. Not really. Aerodynamic / weight limitations are a HUGE factor. A 100HP engine could not go 200 mph. Period.

(And don't say "What if..." like, "What if it was dropped from a cliff!" or "down a hill!" On a flat surface, a 100hp engine could not go 200mph. I don't think I've ever seen an engine that goes faster than it's HP, not saying there's a relation. Since there's a lot of factors. But, it's a common truth. Most 200hp cars can't go 200mph.)

i did this in my civic, is this impressive?

the pic is blurry cause of the VTEC

Not really. 110 @ 4.5K in an I6 [Or I4, not sure] VTEC? Since Inline engines are notorious for getting high rates of speed, versus 90* angled engines which are known to have lots of torque and fast acceleration, that's not too impressive.

P.S. Having an Auto VTEC = FAIL.

Well a ported enclosure is generally right at double the size of its sealed counterpart. So assuming your sealed box was made to the proper proportions.... need I continue?

And a hole in a box with a 3/4" depth does not equate to a port, at least not within any usable frequency range we are discussing here. It would be like thinking your system would sound better if your terminal cup accidentally fell off.

continental O-200 will do over 200mph //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

****ing retarded statement. 7hp shifter cart will go 93mph. 108 hp harley local does 167 mph in 8.6 seconds.

i just went out and did that...now it sounds like shit...did i do it wrong?
you might need more holes. i am sure he drilled holes specifically to work for his speakers. remember that not all speakers are the same. you may need more holes.
