dream cars

I don't think it's that ugly. It seems better looking that the 350z. But you must say the stats on this car are amazing. It uses two vw vr8's mated together for power.
Im with you on that; i don't think its ugly either. The car is just rediculas (in a good way); you left out the part where it has a 7speed sequencial transmission. Although the car has somuch problems with it that its kindove redicullas, but hopefully they will have all that work out before production; i would hate to spend $1.2million dollars on a car that has problems, but of course someone with that amout of cash might not have a problem with a service bill $$$$$$$

I've drove my uncles Mercielago, so im sure this vehicle is just amazing being that it has 4 more cylinders, plus 4 turbos and the Mercielago is Naturally Aspired.

I've found that the torque is estimated at 900 and something pound-feet, but at what Revs-Per-Minute is this at? Just woundering since it has 4 turbos. (900 @ ?rpm's)

My guess is that the turbos get progressively larger, or perhaps have 2 small and 2 large. This would allow for boost down low as well as insane power up top. I'd love to see the dyno chart on that car, though.

True but I believe this along with the 16 cylinders and a 7 speed transmission just add more things to go wrong and break.

If it's running four turbo's, then they probably have 2 smaller turbo's that are used to spool up the larger turbo's so you don't have the infamous lag.

dodge tomahawk anyone?

Meh. If you're gonna get a bike, you should get something like a Hayabusa, strap a turbo to it, and make sure your life insurance policy is paid up.

still cant touch the 500-hp tomahawk?!
Not in raw horsepower, but that bike weighs a whole lot more than a Hayabusa. Top speed, acceleration, handling -- 'busa wins hands down.

That's the difference between a superbike and a supercar -- weight. It doesn't take much power to move 500lbs (including driver) really, really fast.

Does anybody have any pics of the Porsche 959 to post? I have it in a couple collectible books but no scanner. I just wanted everybody to see it. Best Porsche ever made! I heard that Bill Gates tried to buy a model of the 959 and got turned down (I think there were two models of the 959 which were made only one year). Story could be B.S. though, it's just what I heard.

MY ultimate dream car would be a 1983 chevrolet corvette. most people would say no way but anyone who knows corvettes would say yea.
