Draft- True or Rumor?

The talk of a draft is total BS and has been used by the left wing of Congress and the Senate since the beginning of the war to kill support for it.

Speaking from Iraq right now, there is no need for it despite what you hear and morale with the troops is quite high and we are here to win this thing despite what the media over there would have you believe.

Well thats what the news said yesterday. They said that they expected the war to end this year. Then bush announced that he expects the war to continue until 2008.
Then today in school everybody was talking about a possible draft.

all of my friends went into the marines and are over in iraq right now. i tried to get in but i have to many medical issues for them.it sucks i cant defend my country while my friends are being killed in iraq and i have to live my life thinking it should be me over there with them. im gonna keep trying till they let me in.

im pretty sure it would be well defended regardless of what happened in iraq. none of the terrorists from 9/11 even came from iraq. but i still support my troooooops and friends in iraq

i know im going to get flammed for this but defend this country from what? When asked a couple days ago about why are we really in Iraq, Bush didnt really seem to have a straight forward and legitimate response. before you tell me that im a left winger, i have had a family member die there.

I guess you can think of iraq as the mouse trap with cheese attracting all the vermin, some smarter than others.

haha thats true.Also a draft is political *******, and during a time where presidential approval polls rules, i dont think its a likely chance.
