i just need some clarification, is running a single sub at its potential as apposed to 2 subs at half rms, which will be better for daily..

2 would be 15's and 1 would be an 18...

rap hip hop and so on, my concern is that george at atomic will make them for daily but the 18 will be at its full potential, oh well, i guess u guyshave a point, when its down the road, i can always put another 5000.1 in so one to each

That answers your question, but does not fit your situation. The 18 has more cone area, it would not have to work twice as hard to match the output level of the two 15's.

The two 15's, generally speaking, would be better... when comparing like model subs. Usually abit more cone area, plus two motors to soak up the input power and dissipate the subsequent heat. But it will also cost more coin.

i just like single sub setups, and the 18 stroker that i was runnig got pretty **** loud, maybe louder than my SX 12's that i ran. Your situation is diffrent cause your wanting to run the 15's. Plus the 18 will be pushed to a great potential so all you need is a good box design
