AQ HD3 15's FTW!!!!

I just installed 2 in my Durango yesterday and all i can say is ****, they are loud and that is with them only seeing a Viper 1200.1 a piece. I went from 4 Orion P Series 15's on 2 Viper 1200's to 2 AQ HD3 15's on 2 Viper 1200.1's. The 2 AQ absolutely walked all over the 4 Orion's on the same amount of power same vehicle, smaller box. I heard that it takes a good month to break these in, probably longer with only 1200rms to each but the output of these subs is tremendous especially down low. I can not wait until to hear them at full potential after they have broke in and I find some more power for them. But they get loud as piss on the power I have now, much more than I expected. As i said these subs owned the previous subs that were in my truck and the Orions had a 2:1 advantage in cone area. Just another example that size and quantity does not matter. Anyway I know this is a pointless thread but I wanted to share with everybody my opinion on the subs, which is they are the best for the money and also anyone else that has HD3 15's tell what you are powering them with, this way I can get an idea of what to give them on a daily basis.

I powered a single 12 with an american bass vfl400.1 which is 4k (4000rms), Powered a pair of 15s with 4 power acoustic a3000dbs and that was just DUMB loud! Very nice subs, get loud, and I will speak on behalf of another owner (jeremiah25) He powered 4 12s with a memphis 4k on each 12.
