Double din pioneer AVH-X2600BT help please

Just got this installed in my Lincoln today. I was wondering if there was a way to disable the safety feature and allow it to play movies while I'm driving. The book says the e-brake wire is the light green one. A friend told me I just have to ground that wire and it will work how I want it. Is this true? Or how do I do it? I just want to be able to play it while driving so my kid can watch his movies from the middle back seat on trips. Thanks

Well I figured it out if anyones interested. U disconnect the light green wire at the e brake that comes from your head unit. U ground it but u need to put a switch in the wire. Toggle it twice after u start your car and you're good to go

I'll have to take note of that trick. You could get a bypass for the car stereo like this one
