What are you trying to do with the connection. If you are looking to play music from the phone than this is a grey area. Honestly I don't think this will work. Don't you have to have a cable to control the stereo with the iPhone? You need a similar cable for the Amazon Fire and I don't believe they make one.
I don't have that phone but it might be possible to use it connected to bluetooth. If all you need is hands free mode then the bluetooth adapter should work. You can see it here on Pioneer's website. It probably won't have all the same capabilities as the iPhone does but the bluetooth adapter says it's compatible with most phones.
