Double Din install help (2 HU's)

Hey everyone I don't know if this will work or not but I am wanting to install a double Din unit and run 2 headunits. This is what I want to do I want to run a Kenwood KVT-815 in dash DVD player as well as my Kenwood excelon x-679. IS this possible to hook both of these up so they both work. Like how would I go about wiring these in and stuff and what othe stuff am I going to need to do. Oh ya it is all going to go into a 2001 Ford F-150. So the double DIN opening is already there.

well i dont know if its right or not but i just got both harness' and tapped all the wires except power and acc. i ran the second acc to the cig lighter and the second power to fuse box. all worked fine. i didnt want to risk blowing fuses thats why i didnt splice power and acc.

Ok sojust to double check to spliced both harnesses together and then hooked them up normally. Now do you have both HU on at the same time?? because if I was to have just 1 on at a time would I not be able to also splice together the power and acc??? thanx for the help man
