****Double Din in dash dvd player****

1st off I would like to introduce myself. My name is alex and I am a 22 year old full time musician. I joined this forum because I am an audio freak and I hope to learn a lot on here....

Okay now down to buisness. I drive a 2001 chevy mailbu, factory everything ( begin crying) and I want to start by changing my radio. I am looking for an inexpensive ( preferrably $600 and under) in dash dvd player, that I can use my ipod, and has a touch screen. I have been on crutchfeild.com to use their guide to kinda get an idea of what fits in my dash, but according to the car outfitter, NOTHING fits my car!!!!!!!!! It says however that I have a 6-1/2" deep opening. I don't what is right or wrong... so.....HELP ME PLEEZE!! Thank you for your time and xperience.
