Double Din Deck Recommend??

looking to get a double din deck cause the dash kit they make for my vehicle can take a double din and I feel it would look more flush. Here is the problem...I can care less about nav. and dvd. So most dd decks are dvd or navi and lack in the sound processing. I want 3 Hi Volt pre-outs with tons of EQ control. The most I see is like a 3 band eq. I like the Premier Avic9000(I think thats the model #) but have heard of all the problems with it. any other ideas???????

looked this up on Kenwoods site and I really like it. couple questions...

1.) when I google it places like sonicelektronix, and onlinestereo say it has 2volt pre-out and kenwood says 5v. which one is it??

2.) also the sites that have info on it say it has a 3-Band eq and then in the manual of the ddx812 it shows a 13-band graphic. which is it

3.) how is the screen as for as visibility and clarity in the daytime???

I had the same questions before I bought mine.

1. It has 5v preouts

2. It has 13 band eq

3. The screen is really good even in sunlight. Just as good if not better than my Pioneer D3.

jvc 810 is like 5v I believe 7 band and only like 500 bucks

Does it support ipod video? Does it have time alignment? The Kenwood actually has dual 13 band eqs, 1 for the front 1 for the rear. It also has tons of other audio controls. I really think the Kenwood is the only SQ double din you could buy with internal processing.

I do also think the JVC is nice. I suppose the 7 band eq would be enough. I think the JVC has the detachable face, which would really be handy!

definately... new lcd touchscreen faceplates are around 300ish on the jvc.... so nice to be able to take out

so what is the advantage of the dual 13 band eq?? you actually have a different eq band for the rear?? and what one controls the subs EQ for the low frequencies?? thanks
