double 4ga?

ok so i ran out of 1/0 wire (all my wire is knu) but i have 4ga left. i have two batts, can i do a double run of 4ga instead of a single run of 1/0? this is just between the two back batteries, so each peice would be about a foot. the primary front battery to first back battery is 1/0

2 4 gauges = 1 gauge. So thats more than fine for 1 foot.

This is the best site I know for this type of thing, You can wire your whole system on an interactive flash and it shows you resistances and voltage drops etc.
