Door speakers are not playing after hooking up amp to them.

Just tried putting an amp to my door speakers and I get no output, what do? I hear very very light static from the speakers.

The REM cable is connected from my sub amp to my doors amp. Also, the wiring from the HU to the xover I left out because I figured it would get a signal from the RCA's being plugged in.

What is the problem here?

you are having several issues with your system. HU getting hot, now speakers cutting out. i assume you got one to work since this thread.

i think we need installation pictures and a wiring diagram detailing every connection, splice, etc. you made.
