Hi guys, I am stumped, I own VW transporter T6 SWB van, upgrading at the moment popping in HD600/4, HD750/1,JL W7AE, JL C5 625 3 way in the front, JL C3 in back, stock head unit, fix 86, stinger power cap 5F. I previously had JL 300/4 AB, Pioneer 600w, C5 525 two way in the front , W7AE, fix 86, C3 in the back.

I installed speakers as instructed in JL manual on the old system, using in the front, 2 way with the tweeter mounted next to woofer in the door card. On reading the manuals on the C5 653 they state no move the tweeter as it will distort and best position is putting the mid and tweeter in the kick plate area. I have seen door pillar mods and was keen to know what the feed back was on the kick plate VS pillar installation. im good on Fibreglass just wanted to see what every one thought. Do kick plate installs rock or is the sound too low in a van?

Cheers guys
