I just took off my passenger door panel in my 1989 Ford Taurus because I'm putting B-Quiet Extreme on the door and panel. When I took the panel off there was this sheet of like threads put together a piece of what looks like shiny, very thin, very flexable plastic, what do I do with that?

2. Do I take the clear plastic stuff off the the door?

I have a 1989 Ford Taurus SHO that I replaced all my JBL Premium speakers in. My advice...just leave those sheets in there... I did and it don't hurt any sound quality //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

Edit: One thing you might wanna do though...when you go to put the door panel back on, make sure all those plastic pins are on the panel. If they are in the door your gonna have a fun time lining them all up so your panel don't rattle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif . I popped all the ones in the door out and slipped them onto the panel. Simply lined em up in the holes and gently (read: a good wrap with my wrist //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) tapped the panel back on.

You can leave it on but you can also remove it once you put the B quiet extreme in ther. Also remember to lube and grease everything in there, the track and all of the parts that move, then cover all of the holes with B Quiet to deaden road noise.
