haha i dont really wanna say because im not sure if the sub is broken, but im positive they were listnin to it because of the fact that i turned bass down the second bfr i left the car there.....but what are ways to test that the sub still is fine....please answerr me!!

maybe check it's ohm resistance against your other one and against what it should be set at to see if the VC is damaged..

pull it out of the box, run some test tones free air check for any wierd noises

I would still B!tch and complain. No sense letting them slide for that especially since you turned the gains and bass down to counter any shenanigans. You never know what happens if you throw a fit, if you do nothing then you can be sure nothing happens.

You could threaten to report them to local business bureau of your city to see if that gets you anywhere, I would report them anyway for being prix

Thats nothing. One time I took my civic to a shop to get a windshield replaced. I came back and they said that there was a problem with the engine and I was like "what problem" and they were like "it doesn't have one" I was like WTF. They also told me that the ****** and the rims and wheels had been "misplaced" so I jes let it go.

No but seriously. Has that ever happened to you were you take your engine to get "looked at" cuz of a clicking noise and all of a sudden you need new brakes, transmission "and it jes so happens" they'll fix it all for a "bargain price".

I always take the faceplate and pull the fuses at the battery.

Just tape a piece of paper over the HU reading in big red letters "Any motherfVcker who touches this will DIE!!!11oneone"

how would i do that?

and i tested them free air and i guess they sound fine.....i just don't like the idea that some ****ers were messin with it.... Even if nothing turns out to be broken im still pissed. hmm any other ideas on how to test if subs r ok?

i do this ALL the time. BUT i dont BEAT on there systems. i dont touch the EG, bass voulum OR the amp. if the vehical came in with the radio on it leves with it one. if the CD was playin it leaves with the track in came in on. if it was OFF, it goes out with it off. i do this more just to listen to differnt products. not to pound on em, just so i can try em out, if i ever want to buy em. today, 2 W7s, i listen, didnt realy like em. though im sure the HPF wasnt set up right
