I got this sub about 4 years ago at a local shop that went out of business. The lady that ran the shop said she had it for a couple of years. I can not find any info about this sub at all. Tried everywhere. just wondering if anyone knows anything about it. It was made in usa, i am thinking it was before maxsonic buyout. I even tried to call hifonics and they said they dont have any info since alot of stuff was lost in buyout. It is a 15 buy the way. Thank guys

From doing some searching, the model # is Hifonics Plan X-XV and you can find the T/S specs I can only hope they're the right ones here:

http://www.ljudia.se/ts/tsold.htm

Just find the Model. It looks as though the model numbers are as follows:

Plan X-X = 10"

Plan X-XII=12"

Plan X-XV=15"

I can't find out much more than that. Sorry man.

I have tried for time and time again to find info on these subs but cant. They look like a spl type sub. Oh well i guess i will never know.

I am not good at knowing yet how those parameters affect the sub. I know alot of guys here know my the xmax vas etc if they are good spl or good sq. Better ported or sealed. My big thing is here is that the sub stopped working on me a couple of years ago and i dont know if it is worth fixing or not. Thanks for all the info guys.

Ah ok, I thought you were looking for the specs on the sub so you could use it. I guess you're looking to see if people know how decent it is and if it's worth trying to get reconed or something?

It looks to be a pretty old sub and if it doesn't work, I think you should just move on.
