I used Ebay CA glue for 3 hdc3 18s recone back then. still have enough to do two more 18" recones This is the glue. Same price for soundqubed's 4 oz bottle but you get 8oz, No activator but I dont like activators mainly because the glue kit DC audio gave me with my level 5 18 recone kit, the rubber ca glue completely dried up and the activator bottle was 1/4 full and its a 1oz bottle. Didnt really make any difference really other than giving a nasty look. I like clamping them down and letting them set/dry naturally, its much more aesthitically pleasing..

This for the surrounds. This is superior to amazing goop in every way IMHO, Very nice hold and solid feel and very strong as long as you clamp them down and let it cure. I also use office paper for shims.

This is a vid of them playing 22 hz close to bottoming out. With 3 of them being reconed with that exact ebay glue and E6000 for the surrounds.

5 minute epoxy for the spider to voice coil and cone to voicecoil. The rest can be done with gorilla glue. If your using a dustcap that doesn't have a landing get something that dries black or clear. Your choice. The e6000 is a good choice as well..

You used the E 6000 for spider to voicecoil and cone to coil? I've used the 5 minute epoxy and you rip the spiders before the glue joint breaks.. lol

Yep. I'll never use CA glue again.. I have grinding that **** down on a basket...

i used E6000 for 3 recones.. ZERO isssues

you will thank your self if you ever recone again!! grinding black CA will kinda get you high... lol messy as F
