Does this shit actually stick?

So I just got a 1992 Silverado Extended cab from my grandfather and I'm wanting to fix it up. The interior is a dark red and I'm wanting to turn the interior all black and paint the outside black on the bottom and crimson red on the top. Now, my question is does the spray dye that lmc sells actually work? I don't have the money to buy all new interior parts but I'm wanting to paint the dash and all the other plastic pieces with it bc according to lmc it'll stick and look like it came from the factory that color. Does it?

it does but you have to do a couple coats of it I used some vinal spray paint for my truck only did one coat on 2 pieces and 2 coats on the other but then I ran out so it all came out pretty decent though

thanks guys, I'll post up pics this summer of the progress. anyone have any tips on customizing these trucks?
