Does this seems weird? Or is it just me?

i try to give him advice but he doesn't listen, so what's the point? He's the type that likes to be loudest on the block but doesn't know anything. And then asks for my advices but never really listen to me, so i could care less. I just kinda laugh at what he does sometimes

Not particularly asking for a prediction of outcome, but more so on whether or not this would be a positive thing to do or not. In terms of good or bad of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Negative outcome most likely. Speakers playing the same frequency range, firing in different directions = pathlength problems at the very least.

He should build a false floor that is as high as it can go under the trunk lid maybe 3-4" clearance and then put all four subs firing up on the same plane. If one woofer is pushing air and another woofer is aimed so that the wave arrives earlier or later you are gonna get cancelation issues up the wazoo.

I have seen 4 orions in an accord same setup way too small of boxes and a Orion 2100 pushing them, it got plenty loud. Even if he can do 3 firing forward or backward on the same plane it will be louder than crammin in the fourth woofer and have it (possibly) cancel sound.

tell your friend two ported will be just as loud and you have more power per woofer- depending on what ohm you make your power at.

sell them and buy a new setup
or get save the ones that wont fit and build a ported box for two

period
He had two 10" L7 in Kicker ported box before, but then opted to go this route, so perhaps porting these won't be a good idea

lol, he has no skill and i'm not about to do such a big build for him. Telling him to go two 12s ported would be best really. But i'm just gonna let him do his thing and maybe realize his mistake later....maybe.
