Does this seem right?

The box I am designing for my old Tempest is a slot-loaded design. I changed the size of the slot per suggestions in my other thread. The slot is now 2.5" X 14.5".

The volume I designed the box for was 2.5 cubic feet. My design is 36"W X 16"H X 15"D. The total volume of that is 3.91 cubic feet. My port is 46" long, so the volume of that port is 0.973 cubic feet. The internal divider has a volume of 0.290 cubic feet. The woofer I figured at 0.070 cubic feet.

If I take the total volume - (port volume) - (divider volume) - (woofer volume) = design volume. With the numbers above I came up with 2.577, close to my target of 2.50. Does it seem like I figured this correctly? Or am I a total noob and have made drastic errors? Thanks for any input.

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
