Does square port area work like round port area?

The reason I am asking this is because I want to use the PSP-INC calculator to determine the length of a slot port.

Lets Say I want a 2X10" port for my 1.5 cube box thats 20Sq in.

thats roughly equivelent to 5.0475" circular port.

Could I use this to determine length if I plugged in this number?

it should work, just dont use the flared number

and while the math is simple aero's are more efficient than slots and psp"s calc accounts for this acordingly
