Very nice subs, but do your self a favor and get the rsd's instead, and dont solely base your decision on how they look on paper..

That is exactly why im asking about them here (so i dont rely on specs alone, but i start with the idea of high compliance (low Fs) and high excursion (xmax) being fundamental properties of good woofering... then move from there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Note that 1-way Xmax for the ZR is 16mm. The Octane ZR is a definite improvement over the older Octane R.

Where'd you get the notion PG *****? I'd try to save the cash for the RSD, since it's the higher model line than the ZR.

I just got RSD 12" yesterday.

Haven't installed yet but the finish looks cheap. Glues, terminals, etc.

But if it sounds great like others say then I have no complaints.

Rsd's are amazing. Check my setup in my sig out, its loudz and sounds good doing it.

I just Installed 2 10" Phoenix Gold Xenon 10d4 hooked up at 2ohms to 2 Alpine MRP 650 and that sounds so good, its in a sealed box in his 2004 GMC Sierra sounds clean and puts out a lot of bass
