hi
i am new to this audio thing and i wanted to ask does wattage in a subb mean that it has a higher volume or better sound quality?

lets say i have 2 exact 12 inch dvc subs both 850rms power rated
one is 2ohm
second is 4 ohm
if i run them in the same configb on the same amp same everything which one will sound better which one will be louder?

and does the wattage really mean higher souns volume??

if not how can i know which subb is higher quality which is not

thanks a lot for the help:)

The lower the ohms are, the more power it will extract from your amp. But that is not a telltale of quality. Higher quality subs will tend to be made if die cast aluminum vs. stamped steel. But even then, some low power quality subs are made of stamped steel. I guess there really is no real way of knowing what is quality vs. mediocre. It is all subjective since one man's trash is another man's treasure. Sorry, no real answer from me today.
