~~ does it really matter on the type of amp kit that u get?? is there a chance of the wirering burning out or anything along that line... i mean some of those ampkits can get to be 200$, and i personally would never pay 200$ for an amp kit.... does it matter if i get a cheasy amp kit... or a ritchiously bad ass one??.. any thoughts would be much obliged.... thx

Wire is wire, but there could be a problem if you don't get the right size. Personally, with the pricier amp kits, you are mostly paying for the name.

Personally amp kits are a waste of time and money. If I were you I would by everything seperately. That way if you want to use a different gauge for this or that you aren't wasting any of your money. FYI: The power cable that has the big names on it like Rockford or MTX aren't any better quality cable than street wires or scoche or tiff. Chances are Rockford and MTX aren't making the wire, they have someone else make the wire and slap their logo on it.

id go to speakerhole.com they got some good prices on wire kits. you can get an 0 gauge wire kit for like 70 dollars id check them out but you could probly hook it up cheaper by buyin everything seperate
