so, if a box is secured to the trunk, mounting the amp elsewhere in the trunk will thus have less vibration? we should all then find a way to measure the level of vibration throughout our vehicles to find the area with the least vibration correct?
i ask because a coin pretty much bounces the same on the hood, roof, trunk lid, and floor of my car as it does the top of the box (well maybe not the hood)...
no not exactly, but the area with the least amount of vibration in the car... the hood wont work cause the engine is in there, i suggest pulling a nice trailer with great suspension to be safe...so by your calculations we should mount our amps to our hoods //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
over how much time? and where then would one mount the amp inside the vehicle that would have less vibration?I called db-r the amp repair shop to find out about the used Sundowns, Anyway wewere just talking about what kinda repairs they make. He told me like 85-90% of the
repairs they make are dew to extreme vibrations, where the soldered joints on the
board just come lose and cause problems...
i know arent we all. usually we just splice the rca line and tap in our ipodsi agree. i routinely play cd's in my amplifier.
