alright, im running a 1200.1 to my 2 ED k 12"s @ 2 ohms, so 600 watts each. I have a 1.0 cu ft sealed box per sub. I'm going to have a 5.7 total cu ft ported box soon. Will I be more at risk to blow my subs? I will be competing with this setup and was just wondering... (of course i wont be a "volume master".

while i'm not familiar with the specs on the k's...in general, a sub can handle more power in a sealed enviroment...in a ported one, a sub and amp can tend to lose control..depending upon application...and causing damage to the woofer.

however, in a competition setting, with no more then two-three second burps, you may be alright..

again, all this kinda depends on the subs rms rating and if the factory "underrates" for warranty reason..etc, etc, etc
