Ever try using a Skilsaw or jigsaw for making long stright cuts?

yes, i have, i've built several boxes that way. I've just had a shit day at work, for some reason everyone in this town decided to skip work and come to lowe's. i've had zero down time and i'm lucky i could get away to grab a lunch.

All I can tell you is, I'm a manufacturing engineer and my motto is "Do whatever it takes" when I go to work.

I've crawled around underneath conveyors and on top of press brakes to wrench in my work clothes (nice clothes) to help out my customers, when I could have called the Maintenance Dept..

I'm always been pretty thankful to have any job I've ever worked and I've worked some shitty ones.

Back in the day I ended up teaching the guys at home basr how to build boxes after my saw died and needed a few boxes cut.

Teaching how to get dutch cuts was fun.
